Art Galleries

Sisters has created a true community of artists – people who support and inspire each other to dig deeper, reach higher.

On the fourth Friday of each month, art lovers enjoy a stroll among Sisters’ many galleries. It’s a great way to get out and experience the range of creativity to be found in this small town. For the past several years, artists, gallery owners, and arts patrons have been working to create an arts district on Hood Avenue, where many of Sisters’ galleries can be found. Any day is a good day to stroll those galleries, where you will find extraordinary work in every medium imaginable, from sculpture to watercolors, pottery to jewelry, and on — as far as the creative mind can take you.

Several local artists have created books, which can be found at Paulina Springs Books on Hood Avenue, and some artists host open studio tours when able during the summer. That’s just the tip of the paintbrush in Sisters Country. Click here to read more...

The Jewel

Established in 1991, The Jewel has become a landmark and a repeat destination for Central Oregon visitors. The gallery features a unique blend of contemporary jewelry and spectacular minerals, fossils & specimens, as well as unique home interior pieces. Our jewelry lines are comprised of fine precious gems, rare materials, colored diamonds, and an amazing collection of jewelry by national artists working in silver, gold, mixed metals and other creative materials. We also have an amazing in house jewelry design team that provide in-depth custom design services both locally and long distance. We have expanded to carry home interior and art pieces with a rock and mineral influence. These things along with the abundance of museum quality minerals and fossils create a truly unique gallery that has something for everyone to fall in love with.
